Jennifer co-founded the Share Your Voice Foundation in 2008. She is the creator of the Facilitator-in-Residence (FIR) program for SYVF and currently trains educators and artists to facilitate SYVF’s outreach programs. A Montana native sharing time with Los Angeles, Jennifer has crafted a flourishing career in performance, working professionally in the fields of theatre, film, television and radio. On stage she has toured nationally performing with Eric Idle in his Eric Idle Exploit’s Monty Python and Greedy Bastard Tours (unprecedented female lead) at venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Chicago Theatre, Universal Amphitheatre and Hollywood Bowl. Jennifer has also been a top-rated Southern California radio personality and is a successful voice-over artist for films and commercials.
In the field of performance education, Jennifer has worked as an educator for the East LA Classic Theatre, teaching Shakespeare for our Children and Beyond Borders programs to at-risk youth in South Central & East Los Angeles. She was a resident teaching artist for Will & Company (LA Theatre Center) and contributed as the Music and Dance specialist for the City of Los Angeles Park and Recreation Department’s Camp Hollywoodland. As a Fulbright scholar, Jennifer was privileged to serve as a cultural ambassador for the U.S, traveling and teaching in the Slovak Republic. She co-chaired the inaugural TEDxYouth@Hollywood event and coached speakers for TEDxYouth@Whitefish. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts degree in Cultural and Media Studies from Claremont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies and Theatre from Pitzer College.
