The Share Your Voice Foundation (SYVF) is proud to work in partnership with area schools to help support local students. SYVF was recently part of Graduation Matters, a program aimed to increase high school graduation rates. The event included 700 area 8th graders and their teachers and was the first public awareness event of its kind.
Research demonstrates that students who are engaged in arts-based programs show increased ability to communicate effectively, work cooperatively, and to set goals. Arts-based curriculum have shown to improve general academic performance and increase student motivation towards school.
