The Facilitator-In-Residence (FIR) program is designed to train and cultivate future facilitators to run SYVF’s impacting youth outreach performance programs.  This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a special training program, to garner valuable educator, directing and coaching skills, and contribute your creative talents in a retreat-style experience in the stunning setting of Northwest Montana.  The goal of the FIR program is to train individuals to become facilitators and run an ETP workshop in their own communities, but also to return in future seasons to continue the program in Montana.

Two separate 1-week workshops are scheduled each summer in which candidates participate as facilitator trainers.  The first week participants are trained to facilitate an entire 6-day performance program.  The second week each facilitator team has the opportunity to put their training into practice by co-facilitating that year’s Empowerment through Performance (ETP) workshop program with youth participants.  SYVF will provide facilitator trainees with an honorarium and, if traveling from out of the area, a stipend to help cover travel, meals, accommodations and incidentals during the 2-week period.  If not local, accommodations may be able to be arranged by SYVF.

Attendance to the FIR program is by invitation only. If you are interested, please click on the button below to be taken the application page.
